Great Gidding is part of a group of rural villages collectively known as the “Giddings”. The village itself has an active community and facilities that include the school (of course!), playing field, corner shop, village hall, village pub, clubs and several local businesses.
Nearby is the large village of Sawtry which has numerous facilities including a supermarket, lots of smaller shops, nursery schools, a community college, a library and leisure centre.
Surrounding towns and cities are Huntingdon, Oundle and Peterborough.
